| My impression is, he talks in very vague terms. Most American Jews,especially the younger generations, don`t give a damn about Israel or about being Jewish. They don`t participate in anything Jewish. but he includes them in his "group".He can say he represents that group, and what he says they feel is a pipe dream because they don`t feel anything and they don`t care. They are "ghettoized" Jews who are a assimilating in great numbers because they are free to do so, "Why take on the burden of being Jewish when we don`t have to?" If he wants include them in how the general American public feels that is ok, but not as Jews. |
