| America should not fear criticism on Israels behalf. Bush has recently criticized Israels expansion policies and international criticism of Israels treatment of the Palestinians is always an issue. This forum should be welcomed as an opportunity to debunk false charges and to attend those charges which show merit. Only if all of the anticipated charges are true and impossible to debunk should attendance be avoided. I can understand why Israel would shy away from this fight, but I can`t see America running away and sticking head in sand. |
