| The artillery shells and bombs and tank fire of the IDF are certain to cause civilians deaths. They know this. Still they manage to go ahead and kill the civilians and there is no protest or investigations, even in cases where only civilians are killed. Israel does this on a wholesale level and is comfortable with it. Considering this, it is nervy of Israelis to over react against the occassional deaths at the hands of militants. Each of these Israeli deaths is usually paid for in advance by the death of 50 Arab civilians at the hands of the IDF. When Israel comes to value all people as being equal then they may have a more receptive audience for their complaints. |
