ALEX: I am only hoping that you do know that you are a very lucky individual, who didn`t have to run for your life (for months, sometimes even years), who didn`t have to avoid gunshots from the Egyptian soldiers (I`ve seen wounds myself, as several refugees I know have showed me), who didn`t see their house burn or their children killed right before their eyes. These people (ok, maybe not ALL of them, I`ll give you that) have gone through a lot and before rejecting them completely, you should learn to listen to who they are.
SUGGESTION for you:
Take a day-trip to the several refugee shelters, located in various cities around Israel. The ones in Tel-Aviv are all around the Central Bus Station. What kind of country lets people (no matter where they are from and what their legal status is!) live in such non-hygienic, filthy, poor conditions? Sometimes, there are no showers or toilets. You`ll see, your trip will be eye-opening. There are also many children and women: a security threat?
