be dangerous. Syria is talking to Israel about all the things that are preventing a normalisation of relations between two neighbouring countries. A good thing I think we will all agree. However, what if this is Israels last chance you know, Ozzy Bin Laden always makes threats and then says what we can do to mitigate the threat, become a happy Jihadi, leave the Arab peninsula you know the type of thing. What if Syria has opened these talks, and let`s face it Syria has a position of strength at the moment, if it goes well Syria is not going to attack Israel, if it goes badly the dogs of war will be unleashed. Assads attempt to allow his regime to survive over the more militant members of his country. Whilst trying to keep the more pragmatic on board as well. Or is it because Olmert knows it is now only a matter of time before Syria becomes a nuclear state courtesy of Iran and giving the Golan Hieghts back is the only option Israel has left.
