| Where would this new state be put? Gaza cannot be included in any possible state because of Hamas. There are no contiguous areas is the West Bank to house a state. `Palestine` never existed as a self governing country and its `people` have proved themselves incapable of running an econony. The economy collapsed in Zimbabwe after the white farmers were forced out, and after massive handouts the PA has still shown that it is incapable of progress. Israel can be partly blamed for the lack of progress but it has thrived and prospered since `48 whilst surrounded by enemies. The only solution would seem to be for Israel to provide work for Arabs in the region. People with full bellies and a future are not rebellious. Time for honesty. Many former `terrorists` have given up there weapons and said that the battle was lost and better to work and to have a future than to watch their friends and family die one after another for nothing. Many may not like the above but it is reality. |
