| "Palestinians" and their naive apologists have a tendency to use certain phrasing as a way of achieving a deceptive result. For example, "Historically Arab East Jerusalem" is a remarkably deceptive phrase since the history referred to was only the 1948 Israeli War of independence when Jordan illegally invaded and occupied half of Jerusalem, destroyed 56 synagogues, tore out Jewish headstones and ethnically cleansed it of its Jewish inhabitants. "West Bank" is a similar phrase with a similar history, history only since 1948! |
