Nope. Haredi is not a particular sect either. It is simply Hebrew for Ultra-orthodox. And its newsworthy because religous people claim to be of higher moral and hence are held to higher standards. And becasue Haredim often lived in very closed and hierarchic communities where these kinds of problems are often silenced, out of shame and fear. Oh, and yes. I`m religous.
