| One of the most telling facts about Hamas in Gaza is the filthy (by all firsthand accounts) and disease-ridden sewage system. Governments normally have a responsibility to provide both a safe and healthy environment for its citizens. I suppose that the politically correct modern western liberal standard is to blame Israel for the poor state of affairs in Gaza. In fact, it`s been Hamas operatives who have been the ones tearing up the sewage system in order to obtain the necessary steel piping through which the sewage runs in order to construct their quassam rockets. And who provided the steel tubes in the first place? Why Israel, of course. Hamas is never responsible, after all, for the pitiful state of affairs in Gaza, at least according to Hamas propaganda. |
