Oh, dear, hit a nerve there, didn`t I. And there we all are, changing our language to suit the nationalist dictates of over half the world, calling Bombay, Mumbai; Peking, Beijing; and talking about Catalunyans instead of Catalans to keep all these little xenophobes happy, and what happens? Even if they can`t spell in our language (What is a Catalunyian?), the self-righteous indignation is all too evident.
Even my dictionary now accepts Catalunyan as an alternative. But then, I live in England, the home of the English language. How far backwards do you want us all to bend? Until we can see between our legs?
