| Not every DeutscheMark and Shekel was handed over to the survivors for daily consumption, okay. And at least the survivors I know could really need every agora. But the the money was also intended - and succeded in - supporting the young Israel in developing its infrastructure and giving her the means to defend herself. Giving the survivors, their offsprings and their brethren a little more future after a past murderously shattered. |
