| Whether Kuntar is released or not is immaterial. To the Lebanese people he is seen as a symbol of the successful campaign of resistance which drove Israel from Lebanon. Therefore he is seen as a hero. This lady can have her say, but it should be balanced by quotes of the families of Goldwasser and Regev. Nina Keren has of course the right to her say as well, but a Politician is elected to make the difficult decisions. I remind you there was only three dissenting voices for the swap at Sunday`s cabinet meeting. Remember Nina Keran at least knows where her son is, The families of Goldwasser and Regev do not even know if they are alive. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. |
