| Israel is shouting into the wind. Nobody cares about Hezb. rearming, rebuilding in the south, or even disarming. Not a single nation besides Israel has this as their goal. They aren`t even trying. That`s because the rest of the world has set the expectation, and is pushing for a completely different solution. The only solution on the table for Hezb. is to have their military wing placed under the control of the Leb. Army. Once Hezb. is a Leb. Army special force, all of the illegal arm smuggling instantly becomes legal arms imports. There becomes no reason to disarm them, because it instantly becomes legal for them to remain armed. Instead of Hezb being banned from the South, OP2 of 1701 demands Leb. "deploy their forces together throughout the South". Hezb, as part of Leb`s military, would fall under OP2`s REQUIREMENT for Leb to deploy in the south. So don`t hold your breath. The only thing that is going to change (IF ANYTHING AT ALL) is Hezb reporting to the Leb Army. |
