Riiiiiight. So UNIFIL isn`t a peacekeeping force. No Sireeeeeee! It is the IDF`s army of occupation from 1982-2000, only wearing blue helmets and speaking Italian. Yeah, I can see that suggestion going down a treat. And while we`re at it, of course, *I`d* like to see UNIFIL being a bit more "pro-active" about those F-15 fighters that violate Lebanon`s airspace on a daily basis. You know, UNIFIL using force against those planes in order to carry out her mission under Operative Paragraph 8 of Resolution 1701. Seems only fair, I suggest.... |
