Perhaps , Olmert also actually believes it would be in Israel`s interest to give the Golan to Assad. This is even scarier than the the first rationale for what Olmert is proposing - how many mistakes must Israel`s leaders make before they realize that appeasing those intent on Israel`s destruction only hastens Israel`s liquidation ?
