| The only reason that Olmert is negotiating with Syria is to pave the way for an Israeli attack upon Iran. By involving America in his negotiations with Syria, he would drag America into Israels war if Syria deviated from the agreement with Israel. This is a smart move on Olmerts part but a foolish move for America. Israels ultimate goal is to involve America in a decades long war with Iran while Israel sits it out. This is similar to what was done with Iraq. This is a step by step process and having America sponsor the Syria/Israel talks is a first step. |
