| So isn`t it plain as day that the Second Lebanon war, with its thousand dead and vast destruction, was wholly unnecessary? This very swap could have taken place immediately after the capture of the two IDF soldiers and all that misery spared, including the two years lost by the two soldiers? It shows that Israel was just waiting for an excuse to launch another attack, still pursuing its old dream of control of Southern Lebanon and the Litani. |
