| I don`t know what the editors of the New Yorker were smoking when they approved this cover, but they must have a pretty good hangover today. The cover is completely tasteless. And not in a "Harold And Kumar Go To Guantanamo" way, either. Normally, I`m all for tasteless political satire, as long as it makes me want to laugh, not vomit. There`s a similar cartoon showing Obama wrapped in an American flag from head to toe with two Mid-Westerners pointing and saying "Look, Honey, it`s a terrorist in a Burqa!" Now that one was funny. |
