| Iran is not a threat to the world. It may be a threat to Israel, but definetly, not the world. A nuclear North Korea was not a threat to the world, to classify Iran as such is laughable. For years, Israel tried to prod the U.S. into doing its dirty deed ala Iraq. It did not work, but they are still trying. Iran today is not Iraq of 25 years ago. Not only can Iran retaliate in force, it can also disrupt the flow of most of the world oil supply bring the economies of the industrial nations to a complete halt. Despite the rhetorics and few useless sanctions, the west is not in the mood to start a war with Iran. If Israel wants to stop the Iranian nuclear program, it has to do that at its own risk without any military help from the west. Even the west will not encourage a military solution for fear of the dire consequences. |
