| It is quite amusing that although Obama is only in Israel for a short "meet and greet", the Israeli officials rush him to Sderot in order to make a political statement of their "victimization". Obama knows the score and he has been a vocal critic of Israeli settlement expansion. He also knows that Israel couldn`t be bothered to suspend the expansion even during the peace talks. The statement Israel makes with their actions overwhelms the statement they make with the detour to Sderot. Perhaps, on his next trip, he will visit Gaza city for a real eye opening session. |
