| The reasons those people didn`t want the Jews to have a state in the first place is because it was at the expense of their land. This is precisely the same reason that Israels don`t want the Palestinians to have a state. I am sure that the Palestinians would not have objected to a Jewish state in Argentina or Alaska. In order to be a successful (and brainwashed) supporter of Israel it is necessary to NOT consider all of the wrongs done by Israel and focus only on the "wrongs" done to Israel. This plays very well into the Jews natural ability to play the victim so well. Of course, people without the ability to ignore the wrongs done by Israel see a very different picture and it makes the victim role playing seem very incongruous or even nonsensical. There is no way to bridge the divide and, in the end, the international community will have to treat Israel as an outlaw state in order to force them down the path to peace. |
