| At present the Syrian border is our quietest. The Syrians are a bit in awe of us and didn`t respond to the mystery bombing last year. They`ve made typical bombastic statements about wanting all of the Golan, up to Tiberias, which includes the Kinneret, which is obviously unacceptable, but if they`re prepared to give up their active ties with Iran and Hizbullah, real advantages for us, there`s no reason on earth why we shouldn`t normalise relations with them. |
