Title:Shortcomings of Orthodox Judaism

Shmarya is correct. there are terrible shortcomings in orthodox Judaism. One of the worst in my mind is what a Haradi (a Rabbi) told me. He said, Paraphrasing, "I practice Judaism my way, I know my way is the right way, If you don`t do it my way, then you are not practicing Judaism." Which to me implied that if you don`t do it exactly his way then you are not Jewish.
The other part was that was implied was, If I didnt want to do it exactly his way, he didnt care and he didn`t care if I stayed Jewish. This is not a way to have a strong viable major religion. All you get is a bunch little disconnected cults. Jabbering at each other, about who is really right.
