It seems to came to what you called "religion" with your starry eyes wide open, and forgot that as in the so-called Secular world there are bogus experts who will sell anything based on little or no knowledge, or perhaps a certain level of knowledge, there are plenty of so-called rabbis who may be big on Good Deeds, but are far from being Talmudic Scholars, or Rabbis.
The trouble with so-called rabbis is that they imagine that their Good Works qualify them to be called Rabbi. Then there are people like you who believe them, mostly because you are just a little less knowlegable than they are.
You wanna believe in them, a bee gesunt, but my advice to is Learn Torah they way it ought to studied, stay away from spurious claims.
At the risk of perhaps talking out of turn, it may be possible to interpret Rabbi Nachman`s narrow bridge as the limits of Halacha, which every Jew must fallow, but not be afraid to search inside themselves for what is True. |
