Olmert has been nothing but a disaster for Israel. While he might have been making better decisions recently, his total lack of credibility means that the results of any discussion will not be implemented. Suppose, for example, that Israel and Syria were to somehow reach a mutually-acceptable peace treaty. If Olmert were the salesperson, no matter how good the treaty is, would anyone believe it? Would anyone act upon it?

A leader with strength, a leader with strategic vision, and a leader with credibility...this is what Israel needs now. Someone who can find solutions to difficult problems and make sure that they are implemented.

Sadly, there isn`t one. Neither on the left, nor on the right. It`s just the same-old, same-old.
