It is a shame that some are lauding the achievements of these teens, instead of asking whether it is best for them to eschew a more broad education, and even a rudimentary Jewish education, for the sake of becoming computer techies. Certainly there are some plusses to this precocity, but children need and benefit most from a well rounded education, as philosophers since Socrates have noted.
