This is extremely disappointing; I am very disappointed with the US authorities, who finally bent in to extremist elements in Israel that support collective punishment of the Palestinians.
If the US authorities rejected the visa`s originally then it would`t have looked so bad, however, they waited till the student reached the US then rejected him, most probably on groundless basis.
I am sure that such actions will not help in the peace process. Most Israelis should be lobbying their government against collective punishment. Collective punishment is Hamas`s only excuse to remain in power. The recent Actions by the US authorities will only strengthen Hamas`s arguments. |
