"That`s Lithuanian chutzpah," says Dr. Efraim Zuroff, director of the Israeli branch of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. "To date, Lithuanian governments have not punished a single Lithuanian war criminal."
Oh really, Dr. Zuroff? Well, for that matter, no government that I know of has punished a single Soviet communist war criminal. Are we to suppose that the Soviet Union produced absolutely no war criminals? I think that the Wiesenthal Center staff has a lot of extra time on its hands. Why not create a new wing of that organization devoted to communist bolshevik hunting? |
