| ....and now that Israel has an obsession with demographics maybe you can understand. The holocaust was a horrible event perpetrated by Germans but you could also understand the anxiety of native Lithuanians (a small country like Israel) becoming a minority in their own capital. Nothing justifies killing people but there is something to be said about keeping Lithuania ethnically Lithuanian, just like I understand the case for Israel to remain ethnically Jewish. |
