| A binational Israel/Palestine state will never work and will colapse the same way multinational states such as Yugoslavia,Cyprus,Czekoslovakia and Soviet Union did.Look at the consequences of such artificial structures in Kosovo and now in Georgia. A peace treaty between Israel and the Palestinians has been already negotiated.It`s called the Geneva Initiative. http://www.geneva-accord.org/Articles.aspx?docID=3071&FolderID=43&lang=en All Israel and the Palestinians have to do is sign on the doted line. Once a compromise is reached and contencious issues are solved an economic union between the two sides may be achieved to which Jordan,Syria and Lebanon may join later. First and foremost though VIOLENCE MUST STOP and the extremists must be locked up and the key thrown away. It may be a dream now.But dreams come true some times. |
