| The West should defend Georgia in the face of this unjustified onslaught by Russia. There are many peace-loving Russians. But the leaders seem hellbent on buldozing their way like the old Communist order. It is time the Russian people tell their leaders to stop this madness. Russia cannot revert to the madness of the Cold War. Humanity should not stand idly by as a big bully hammers a little kid on the block. It is time to help Georgia, an emerging Democracy in the region, defend itself from destruction. |
