The incipient entries of Turkey into the EU, and Georgia into NATO are causes for celebration for peace loving individuals and countries everywhere; France and Israel especially.
On the other hand, the unconscionable massive and brutal invasion of Georgia by the heavy handed Russian KGB remnant bureaucracy shows that the darkness is as dark as the brightness is bright on the prospects for peace.
The world cannot stand idly by why Stalin`s heirs in the Kremlin brutalize once more a nation that they and the Czars raped for centuries.
We need more than voices and writing on this. Additionally, every attempt needs to be made thru every means available to mobilize Russian public opinion against the KGB thugs. |
