| Neither the Arabs nor the Israelis will accept the proposal. Hamas will assassinate any Palestinian leader that abandons the "right" of Arabs to return and destroy Israel from within, while Israelis will not commit national suicide for Olmert`s legacy as "peacemaker". The Olmert Govenment can`t even evacuate trailer homes in the Migron outpost without "enticing" the settlers to leave for permanent housing in a new settlement closer to Jerusalem. Let those watching the Mid-East drama from afar rejoice in the illusion of "Peace in our time". |
