There`s a good reason for this. Everyone knows that a journalist`s work can be dangerous, no doubt.
But Israel has a history of killing civilians, and a history of finding itself not to blame when it investigates itself. Several years ago the IDF killed a British journalist and the "verdict" was the same. In this case, four unnamed bystanders were killed as well.
If it happened seldom, you would not find people so critical of Israel. As matters stand, the facts seem to support the idea that Israel cares little or not at all for the lives of civilians and certainly there is no accountability whatever.
With these facts in plain sight, you are going to find many people critical of Israel, myself included. |
