Two states, with predominantly Arab areas becoming part of Palestine and predominantly Jewish ones going to Israel, regardless of their current political jurisdiction. Will that ensure perpetual bliss? No, I don`t have my head in the clouds. There will always be crazies and zealots who will feel that their land was usurped and wreak havoc until the other is destroyed. But the primary concern for the vast majority of human beings - Jewish, Muslim and otherwise - is to ensure that they and their families are safe, provided for, and taken care of. If there is peace, even a cold peace, with two states living side by side in recognized, if unsatisfying borders, the vast majority of people on both sides will turn their concerns to the vicissitudes of daily life and the grind of everyday survival, rather than obsessing over national aspirations. Peace will come not out of love, but out of practicality.
