| Russia will eventually have to retake and stabilize the Caucuses putting it in conflict with Islam. Russia does not wan a powerfull nuclear Iran on its border. Russia is rising and will need controll of oil piplines and sea lanes. Having lost territory in Europe,which is now under Nato protection Russia wants to grow and prosper and not get involved in Nuclear war with Nato. Therefore Russia must go back to its Zarist ambitions and expand south. In 1945 our troops entered Iran but because of British confrontation we withdrew, Otherwise we Russians woul own Iran today. |
