Title:Forget jewish vote, catholic vote is more critical

Other than being a Roman Catholic, Biden doesn`t seem to bring much to the ticket. Obviously the Obama advisors don`t believe that Obama really needs all that much help from the "bottom of the ticket", and they are probably right. The only real advantage that Biden brings to Obama is that Biden is a Roman Catholic, and may be of some help with "middle of the road" catholics in the battleground states of Ohio, Michigan, Missouri, who might be concerned about Obama`s pro-abortion positions. The choice is further evidence that the jewish vote is not critical in this election due to the ethnic makeup of the battleground states.
