But what Israel should do is set up rules to transfer humanitarian aide--and allow it in. Stopping hearing aides and medical supplies is not worth the bad press ever. Then they could stop the boats and say there was already a process in place to get any and all humanitarian aide in. The rules would be required for security only--not to pressure Hamas which seems to be doing just fine in Gaza with or without the blockade.
