| At the time, Israel feared Palestinian nationalism more than Islamic fundamentalism. BIG mistake number 1! It also shows how they never wanted or intended to have peace with the Palestinians. Fatah was corrupt - what has changed? We don`t want Hamas but we certainly don`t want the likes of Abbas either. We want someone to breathe new life into Palestinian politics. Time for the old men to get out their pipes and slippers. |
