| Palin is a poor choice regardless of how you look at it. It`s one thing to elect a qualified woman to this high office, but this is the wrong woman: her pro-life position is out of step with not just Jewish Americans but most Americans in general; her positions regarding oil exploration and drilling in ANWAR is wrong-headed; she has far too little experience in foreign policy and national government to be considered for a vice-president who very likely will have to take over for McCain due to age and/or illness; and if image is meaningful, then she has to appear more Presidential rather than have her tussled hair in her eyes and innocent "hockey mom" attitude for the press. It`s demeaning to think that this is the image of a `woman in office` that McCain wants to promote. |
