| Contrary to what some among the left intelligentia claim, this episode proves conclusively that: One, the PLO was an international terror organisation, not a freedom movement. The same is true of Hezbollah, Iran and Islamic Jihad. Two, terrorism is never just a tactic to gain national goals, but an end in itself. Three, Kissinger was even more cynical than we knew. Israel has no one but itself that she can trust. |
