| Many people misread Sudan. They are not as genocidal as Hollywood and the West portray them They fought a 20+ yr Civil War with the Christian Black South. They signed a peace deal and it has held for a few years now. If you actually pay attention, it was the Darfurians that started the conflict in the West. There was a peace deal for them on the table too. They walked away. The Darfurian leaders are trying to pull a Kosovo. They picked a fight they had no hope of winning. They want the West to come in and be their proxy army. Their leaders don`t care one bit about their people, just their power. Kosovo set a bad precedent. And the West just found out with the Russian-Georgia conflict. It is hypocritical to complain about South Ossetia and Azhbazia, when we did the exact same thing in Kosovo. |
