The Egyptian people are hugely sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinian people and there are limits to how much the military dictatorship can cosy up to Israel, loathed by most people. What is also little appreciated by Israelis is that Egypt is currently building the infrastructure to supply Gaza with all of their electricity needs. |
