| actually Jews started voting Democratic in 1928 and moved en masse to the party in 1932 ...imediately prior to that a plurality of us were voting Socialist and prior to that Jews were loyal Republicans when that party of Lincoln represented an urban liberal agenda. We have always voted our interests: fairness,opportunity, social harmony and avoidance of extremes, support of a safety net in health and social services, tolerance of minorities and religious freedom, women and worker rights, and a foreign policy that is realist, balanced and offers bedrock support of Israel (were half our sisters and brothers reside)....in 2008 that translates into Obama-Biden and once again the Democrats... |
