| and speed up our decline through: 1. Fiscal irresponsibility. Every recent Republican Pres left a huge state deficit (Reagan, Bush I, Bush II). Clinton turned it around and left a surplus. 2. Fighting the wrong wars. Letting Bin-Laden and Taliban go while fighting wars of the past. Real ones like Iraq, and imaginary replays like the Viet Nam war. McCain can`t get over it that the Viet Nam war was lost and that he personally lost it. 3. Restricting freedom. See personal choices for families. Palin and Republicans want to restrict these. 4. Promoting cult beliefs. Palin advocates creationism. Often in times of crises, elites of major powers turn to obscurantism and bring down their countries. While China puts all its efforts into biotechnology, conservative Republicans put all their energy into fighting modern biology`s foundation, Darwin`s discoveries. McCain puts our country last. Only a Pres who inspires and mobilizes all our citizens and moves us forward can turns things around. |
