There is nothing wrong digging around the Al Aksa Mosque as long as all precautions are taken to preserve it and Israel will never take a chance to harm it. In fact before 1967 a group of Turkish High school teachers of mine went to visit Jordan where their parents were from during the Ottoman rule. They complained that during the 2 weeks they were not allowed to visit the Al Aksa Mosque. Only after Israel took control of it the grounds were maintained and opened for public worship and visits.
My guess is that you are afraid of the solid Jewish history will come out of these diggings. |
