Title:Can peace be made with fundalmetalists?
Name:Proud Israeli
City: State:
For those of you readers who belong to the Do Good, Feel Good, make peace with your neighbor and your neighbor will make peace with you camp, please note that this cannot be the case where an organization has at it existential core the need to destroy you. This is the case for Hezbolla. This is the case for Hamas. This is the case for all Islamic fundamentalist groups be they from Bali, Pakistan or Tripoli. This is the case for the Iranian Governmental regime (I take care not to write broadly the people of Iran).

These comments are not a selective attack on Islam. Hundreds of years ago, peace was not achievable with Fundamentalist Christianity, the Spanish Inquisition being but an example. The holocaust was an extreme manifestation of hundreds of years of religious-based antisemitism by Christianity against Judaism.

The key to an achievable peace between any parties requires a minimal precondition that can be put down to two words: RECIPROCAL TOLERANCE
