Yuval Azoulay, Haaretz Correspondent and The Associated Press: West Bank villager: Settlers went from house to house firing at random
Talkback
Title:Place a curfew on Yitzhar, too.
Name:Tzfonit
City: Ben-AmiState: Israel
Why is the IDF not dealing with the perpetrator of the stabbing?

Why do settlers feel they have to take the law into their own hands?

Why do people who want to take the law into their own hands and use weapons also receive IDF protection and are seemingly exempt from the law?

Why is there a curfew on the village from which there was one perpetrator or a stabbing, but not on Yitzhar whose citizens go on armed rampages?

It seems there is more than one lawbreaker that needs to be dealt with. The last time I heard the IDf was responsible for retaliating against attacks on Jews. Evidently there are some zealots who prefer to take the matter into their own hands. If they are so independent of Israeli law, maybe they army should stop protecting them and let them deal with the matters, and the consequences, themselves.
