| Not doing a deal with the palestinians doesnt mean binational state the only way that can happen is if they majority of the public want that to be the direction Israel follows. Neither the arabs, any of their allies or even the US can force that solution onto Israel its just an Olmert scare tactic to justify pushing forward his irresponsible policies. He is against transfering 1 million arabs from Israel but that more than anything else it would garunte Israels future survival as a jewish state The responsible way to do deal with Syria is not signing treaties for the sake of signing them but to do whats best for Israels interests and right now Israel benefits much more from holding the Golan than it does from Assads signature on a peice of paper. Peace treaties are bonuses but not the only solution and in this case its the wrong one I hope the arabs build statues and name streets & schools after Olmert because he has been their greatest ally & Israels greatest enemy in history. |
