The incompetently conceived and conducted military adventures of the Bush administration; that administrations total fiscal irresponsibility, and it`s total contempt for the role of government in regulating business excesses; all are rooted in the totalitarian ideology of the administration.
The failings are all related, and none alone is responsible for the economic collapse. Most important amongst them is the belief that anything that made their buddies richer was good and anything which prevented their buddies from doing anything they wanted was wrong.
